Dr. Dipankar Adhya has recently received another laurel to his multi disciplinary activities in his endurance towards providing arsenic safe drinking water to the affected population in rural Bengal.

Recently in  “iDream”- an All India evaluation of the project ideas based on Innovation, Sustainability, implement ability,  Green or environment friendliness and socially contributing towards economy and employment generation  initiated by Reliance Commercial Finance & Fever FM, the project “Rural Decentralized Self Sustainable Safe Drinking Water Project” of Dr. Dipankar Adhya has been selected as the Winner by the Judges Sri K. V. Sreenivan, CEO – Reliance Commercial Finance Ltd, Mr. Vinod Kumar, Country Manager (India & Middle East) – Sustainable Development , Mr. Harsh Roongta, CEO – Apnapaise.com and Mr. Parag Patki, CEO – SME Rating Agency of India at a widely televised event at Hotel ITC Grand Central at Mumbai .

The cash award of Rupees 3.5 million  was handed over to Dr. Dipankar Adhya for his project idea and to take his projects forward. Dr. Dipankar Adhya has already implemented his projects in  many arsenic affected zones in Bangladesh & in India.
