Padmashree Pandit Sri Ajay Chakraborty , Trustee , United Bank Socio Economic Development inaguarated the First Community Based Decentralised Self sustained Rural Arsenic Safe Drinking Water Purification & Supply Project at Dharmpur in Gaighata Block ,North 24 Paraganas on 17th May 2011. Sri Bhaskar Sen , CMD , United Bank of India is seen with Sri Ajoy Chakraborty.

The programme was attended by more than 500 plus beneficiaries. The project will be catering the drinking water requirement of more than 6000 persons.
